PHASE I: Defining Success Criteria
Establishing a clear qualitative or quantitive criteria that serve as a foundation for the journey.
PHASE II: Strategic Sparring and Momentum
A structured journey typically consists of six sessions conducted over a three-to-six months period. We meet bi-weekly or monthly to maintain strategic momentum.
PHASE III: Evidence-Informed Dialogues
During each session, topics are linked back to the predefined success criteria. I offer scientific insights as possible perspectives to inform your decision-making. You maintain full autonomy over all outcomes.
PHASE IV: Impact Review

About Sune Lerche-Pertou
My career has been defined by a multidisciplinary pursuit of environmental and social science to promote substantive sustainability outcomes. This journey began at age 13 at the Aalborg Zoo, where I first observed the power of targeted learning in shaping human connection to the environment.
Academic Foundation
International Education: I studied Marine Science at Pearson College UWC in Canada and Human Ecology at College of the Atlantic in the United States.
Advanced Research: I hold a BSc in Geography and Geoinformatics and an MSc in Forest and Nature Management from the University of Copenhagen.
Field Experience: I conducted extensive field research in Ghana, focusing on local environmental challenges through the lens of Political Ecology.
Recognition of Excellence: My Master’s thesis was awarded a silver medal in recognition of its high academic and societal contribution to environmental empowerment.
Professional Leadership
Global Asset Management: Former Head of Thematic Research at M&G plc in London, leading a team of sustainability experts while supporting the CSO with defining governance, risk frameworks and KPIs.
Engagement and Stewardship: Conceptualised and managed a pioneering corporate engagement program targeting 50 multinational companies to improved their management of nature-related risks and opportunities.
Policy and Advocacy: Served as an advisor to the Danish Ministry of Environment during the UN Biodiversity Conference in Montreal (COP15).
Academic contributions: Taught ESG and sustainability to master-level business students and visiting MBA students at Copenhagen Business School.
